The flag as the national flag with yellow five-pointed star in the green field. Pictured is flag with two stars, one next to the other, but in notes is is said that the stars are according to the rank the chief is holding. In Album 1990 correction 29 is described that three stars are for Division General, so two stars are for what? Ganeral Major?
I should note that the way these flags are no presented on FOTW seem
to suggest that there is one flag for CGS (2 stars) and other for Division
General (3 stars), while I understand that both flags are those of CGS,
but used according to his current rank. (presumably, in theory there could
also be one star? what about four?)

Two stars are for Général de Brigade - Brigade General.
Armand Noel du Payrat, 22 May 2002
General of Division, three stars in triangle.
